THE VANGUARD PROJECT
Our answer to the stop-gap between leaving the military and entering the civilian sector.

Our mission is to provide affordable accommodation to veterans stepping out of the military.

We are looking at providing temporary and affordable accommodation for veterans, so they can assimilate into the civilian sector in their own space and allow them the time to train, qualify and get used to life on civi street.
As veterans ourselves, we know the feeling of dread and despair knowing that the day your military career ends, and you walk out of those gates for the last time, the security is over and it is time to face the reality of life outside.
The reality comes thick and fast;
What do I do now?
Where am I going to stay?
I'm going to have to move back in with family.

For some, they struggle integrating outside the military, they miss the camaraderie, the support and the security and they find themselves unemployed, potentially homeless or hopping from couch to couch, or worse case, can find themselves resorting to alcohol, drugs, substance abuse or resorting to crime.

At the Vanguard Project, we aim to provide that transitional pathway to provide veterans a clear map and give them the tools to succeed.
By doing it this way, we are able to walk them along the path, away from the military and the constraints of duty during their resettlement period and help them find their feet within their new lives.

In the military we gain a lot of qualifications and trade related courses, but what isn't provided is the commercial experience outside the confines of the military, this is similar to life lessons when it comes to functioning as a civilian.

We are aiming to provide help and advice with housing, debt and money management (paying utilities, council tax, etc.) networking, employment opportunities, training courses and finally the important part;
an affordable place to stay whilst they figure it all out and where they can feel safe knowing the pressure to find £1000+ a month for rent whilst they carry out the required training and employment experience within their chosen sectors.

So, how do we hope to provide this service, by utilising our gofundme page, sponsorship programmes and also through affiliate marketing.

Donations are harder and harder to come by now, due to the cost of living, people just aren't able to give as much to good causes anymore. Hence we want to try something different, affiliate marketing can be a way for good causes to make money.

There are many companies out there who have the funds that will pay us to share their stories and products and help turn you as a potential customer into a paying/returning customer and in return we are able to make a commission for the sale at no extra cost to you.
